About
Challenges and opportunities are two sides of the same coin. That is why, in 2019, we founded OTMZA LABS.
After an extensive period of state exclusivity in planning railway infrastructure, the private sector was authorized to plan and build its own railways, under the terms of Law 14.273/2021. With the elements of Sustainable Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) now established by law, we made our choice.
And we chose mobility!
Projects
Rail solutions aligned with the concepts of Sustainable Transit-Oriented Development, designed to enhance people's quality of life.
Our solutions are strategically planned to revolutionize the urban development of cities, integrating efficient rail transport into the lives of neighboring populations. These ventures elevate urban life quality by providing harmonious access to efficient and eco-friendly transport networks, redefining the value and appeal of properties in and around these hubs.
At OTMZA LABS, we are committed to leading advances that connect people, places, and possibilities in a more dynamic way than elsewhere, always with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals and attention to ESG criteria.
Expresso Planalto Central
The construction of passenger railways brings neighborhoods closer together. From Paris to Sydney, the concepts of 15- or 30-minute cities give mobility and urban planning a key role in the quality of life of their population. As technology and productivity increase, our time becomes more valuable.
Reducing travel time is a global societal gain, especially when done along a mobility axis where city suburbs and outlying areas are connected to points of interest (airports, bus stations, city centers). When a distant neighborhood is connected by a high-speed railway, this mobility axis energizes the surrounding region.
Following these premises, for almost five years, OTMZA LABS has been developing the most modern solution for Brazil's first private TOD railway, the Expresso Planalto Central, connecting Luziânia/GO to Brasília/DF via a dual, electrified track, with speeds of up to 160 km/h, encompassing ESG principles.
Our plans incorporate electrified rail mobility solutions powered by clean energy sources. This approach not only minimizes environmental impact but also enhances energy efficiency across all operations.

Projects are designed to support all the compliance structures required for regulatory transparency demanded by government agencies and civil society. This ensures that our operations adhere to the highest standards of governance and accountability.
Corporate Governance
Our transportation solutions are planned to offer a high level of service, with safety and agility, significantly increasing the time available to system users and directly benefiting their lives.
